Kingman, Arizona

We rolled out of Williams, AZ and into Kingman, AZ yesterday and took a ride to Oatman.  Oatman is an old gold mining town whose claim to fame today is that mules roam the streets freely.  I have a bunch of pictures but no time so I will just whet your appetite with these two:

Above:  Williams is a nice little town right on old Rt 66.
And you have heard of the Valley Girls.  Well here are the Arizona girls:

We are taking a slight detour off the Mother Road today and heading north to Las Vegas.  We will tour the Hoover Dam and then move on to Vegas to visit one of my old college roommates.
Until next time, Get Your Vicarious Kicks, . . .  with us, On Route 66!

  1. Very cool pictures I got a little behind. Glad you posted the ugly crust pie picture. I was very curious after the postcard from Dave.
